OUR FOUNDER
Stephanie Coney is the owner and principal of The London Consulting Firm Corporation, a distinguished insurance and consulting agency based in southwest Detroit. A native and lifelong resident of Detroit, Stephanie has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. She began her career at AAA Michigan Headquarters and advanced through roles at State Farm Insurance and Liberty Mutual, where she served as a Lead Sales Representative. In August 2017, she founded The London Consulting Firm Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia, before relocating the firm to her hometown of Detroit.
Under Stephanie’s leadership, The London Consulting Firm has become a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in both Michigan and Georgia, as well as a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) in Michigan. The firm is licensed to operate in Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia, offering a comprehensive range of insurance products, including life, health, Medicare solutions, disability insurance, group health insurance, and voluntary benefits. The London Consulting Firm partners with leading carriers such as, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Mutual of Omaha, Gerber Life Insurance, and Illinois Mutual.
Stephanie is deeply involved in her community, as she is an elected Precinct Delegate (Precinct 359, Detroit, Michigan) and also holding positions as an active member of the Greater Detroit Realtist Association, Vice President of the Women’s Council of Southeastern Michigan, NAREB (National Association Of Real Estate Brokers) and a member of the Southwest Detroit Business Association. She is also the host and sponsor of “Beauty in the D,” a podcast dedicated to exploring power, wealth, and style, which airs live every Saturday at 1:00 PM on WJZZ Cool TV.
